Our Story

About us

“Spanish4servants was born out of a need to bridge the communication gap faced by missionaries in Spanish-speaking countries. Witnessing missionaries struggle with language barriers, we developed a specialized program tailored to their unique needs. Our flexible and comprehensive approach focuses not only on Spanish language learning but also on relevant vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural sensitivity, including biblical terminology. Over the past decade, Spanish4servants has empowered missionaries to effectively communicate, connect, and make a lasting impact in their communities.”

Our Story Starts in early 2004

Ten years ago, I found myself in Peru, surrounded by dedicated missionaries who were passionate about their work but struggled with communication. It was evident that many of them had spent significant time and resources studying abroad, yet they still couldn’t speak Spanish fluently or pronounce biblical terms correctly. This communication barrier hindered their ability to effectively connect with the local community and share their message.

Witnessing this struggle firsthand, I realized there was a crucial gap that needed to be filled. Missionaries were investing so much time and money into language learning programs, yet they weren’t seeing the results they needed. That’s when the idea for Spanish4servants was born.

We set out to create a program specifically tailored to the needs of missionaries working in Spanish-speaking countries. The goal was to provide a comprehensive language learning experience that not only taught Spanish but also focused on the unique vocabulary and phrases relevant to their mission work.

Spanish4servants incorporated innovative teaching methods, interactive exercises, and real-world scenarios to simulate the challenges missionaries encountered daily. It emphasized not just grammar and vocabulary, but also pronunciation, cultural sensitivity, and biblical terminology.

One of the key features of Spanish4servants was its flexibility. Recognizing that missionaries often had limited time and resources, we designed the program to be accessible from anywhere, anytime. Whether they were in a remote village or a bustling city, missionaries could access the lessons online or through mobile devices.

As Spanish4servants launched, it quickly gained recognition within the missionary community. Missionaries who had struggled for years with traditional language learning methods found themselves making significant progress in a fraction of the time. They could finally communicate effectively with the local population, share their message with clarity, and build meaningful relationships.

Over the years, Spanish4servants continued to evolve. Feedback from missionaries on the field helped refine and improve the program, ensuring it remained relevant and effective. It became not just a language learning tool, but a vital resource for missionaries worldwide.

Looking back, I’m proud of what Spanish4servants has accomplished. It’s been incredibly fulfilling to see missionaries empowered to connect, communicate, and make a lasting impact in the communities they serve. And while the program may have started a decade ago, its impact continues to grow, making a difference in the lives of missionaries and the people they serve every day.
